Drawn In: Experimental Evenings at Cave

Join us at cave for Drawn In, a new series of experimental drawing workshops led by Ed Quamina, a brilliant artist currently studying at the Royal Drawing School. These relaxed, ticketed sessions are all about loosening up, taking creative risks, and seeing drawing in new ways — whether that’s through sketching from film, capturing movement, or exploring abstraction. Each workshop invites you to play, connect with others, and rethink what drawing can be.

 

All levels welcome — from total beginners to practising artists.

 

Workshop 1: Drawing From Film

A surreal drawing session inspired by ‘I’m a Cyborg, But That’s OK’ by Park Chan-wook. Watch, pause, draw — we’ll sketch directly from the screen, using the film’s visual language to inspire character, gesture, and mood.
