by Maggie Learmonth
19th - 22nd May 2022
An exhibition inspired by a small urban front garden.
Maggie Learmonth laments the loss of so many of these small spaces and reflects on what could happen if all front gardens had at least a hedge. At a time when movement was restricted, she sat at her front window and began to draw what she saw. This evolved into a series of ink drawings and colourful oil paintings. The artist/gardener will be in the gallery to talk about art, gardens and soil.
