Please Look After This Artwork

What makes an artwork?
Who decides whether it is or isn’t?
And when there is nothing to go by, how do we, the audience, connect with what is displayed in front of us?

Please Look After This Artwork is a curatorial exploration that brings together artworks left over at cave, inviting visitors to create their own stories and meanings in a community-oriented space. Featuring a ‘pay what you can’ system, all visitors will have a chance to purchase their desired piece and continue its story in a new home. This exhibition offers the chance to rediscover, reminisce and reimagine cave artworks in a whole new light.

The exhibition is curated by Laura Nebout, Pippi Clothier and Zoë Aletta.
