Chronicles of Lewisham and Beyond

by Thomas Moore

24th - 26th September 2021

In this exhibition of etched and painted works on paper, Thomas Moore brings together vivid watercolour vignettes of people going about daily chores on Lewisham high street with imaginary and folkloric visions of excess, isolation, loneliness and hope. Moore’s work questions the validity of individualism as we all strive to become part-algorithm and tries to access the raw and tactile world that is becoming overlooked. His watercolour portraits conjure people out of the fog of individualism and celebrate the simpleness within diversity.
