I Make Art In My Kitchen is one month residency running twice a year, January and August with an event/open studio/meet the artist/workshop/conversation. On the final weekend of the month showing progress/conclusion (if there is one).

The main criteria is that you work from home and you don't have a studio to fulfil a project that takes time and space.

You need to commit to at least 4 days a week in cave using the space, you will have access during and after our usual opening hours so can come and go, there are a few usage rules regarding noise and trust.

You will be expected to work together with cave to promote your project and the residency.

Ideally proposals should link to cave and our Ethos of Community engagement and Upcycling but not totally necessary. Our experience has shown that just spending time within the space usually rubs off and feeds into whatever you may be doing!

If you are interested in submitting a proposal for our next residency please get in touch to arrange a meeting.
